Editorial Policy
How EnggTools decides what belongs on the public site, how technical pages are prepared, and how corrections are handled.
This technical page is maintained by Ashish Kapoor, a project engineering lead. Use it as a learning and calculation-review aid, then verify critical work against current standards, project documents, supplier data, and competent engineering review.

EnggTools publishes engineering calculators, technical guides, and standards-aware explanations only when they serve a clear practical purpose for engineers, students, or technical professionals.
The site is intentionally not a high-volume article farm. Public pages should help a visitor run a calculation, understand an engineering assumption, compare a standard workflow, or avoid a common unit, tolerance, bolting, piping, steel-section, or mechanical-design mistake.
What gets published
A page is suitable for public publication when it has a specific engineering use case, original explanation, visible assumptions, and enough context for a visitor to understand what still needs independent checking. Calculator pages must explain inputs, outputs, limitations, and the engineering checks that remain outside the tool.
Standards pages are written as original interpretation notes. They do not reproduce protected standard text, tables, figures, or clause-by-clause copies. Visitors must use current official standards, project specifications, supplier data, and qualified review for final work.
AI-assisted drafting
EnggTools may use software tools, spreadsheets, automation, or AI-assisted drafting while preparing draft text, examples, and page outlines. AI assistance is not treated as a substitute for engineering purpose, practical usefulness, or correction review.
During AdSense readiness cleanup, generic AI-assisted draft articles and unclear resource pages are withheld from public navigation and the sitemap. Remaining public pages are selected because they are tied to original calculators, worked examples, standards-aware explanations, or founder domain experience.
Corrections and updates
Engineering content can become outdated or unsuitable when standards, supplier data, units, material assumptions, or project practices change. Users are encouraged to report possible issues through the contact page with the page URL, input values, expected result, and reason for concern.
When a correction is needed, the page may be edited, expanded, redirected, removed from public publication, or held back until the issue is clear. The goal is to keep the public site useful and cautious rather than large for its own sake.
Advertising policy
Advertising must not hide assumptions, interrupt calculator workflows, or make a technical page harder to read. Ad placements are disabled during approval review so the site can be assessed on its content, tools, navigation, and trust pages first.
